Lenten Appeal Our Lent Appeal this year is to raise money to help the Salvation Army provide short-term accommodation forhomeless people in Carmarthen. Please give your donations to Dr Andrew Padfield, one of our lay readers who is also a volunteer with the Salvation Army.

Confirmation Classes will be starting soon at the Model Church in Wales School with the Reverend Delyth Richards and Kristie Griffiths. If there are adult candidates or candidates from other schools (yn cynnwys unrhyw un sydd am gael ei gonffyrmio trwy’r Gymraeg) please let Delyth or myself know, and we will make special arrangements for them. 

Our Lent Course on Wednesday evenings is led in turn by members of the Ministry Team, followed by Compline.

Award I have been awarded a gold medal by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, in recognition of my contribution to the Armenian community in Wales and beyond. It will be presented by Bishop Hovakim Manoukian, the Armenian Primate of Britain and Ireland, during a special service at St Davids Cathedral on Sunday 28 April at 2pm.

Induction The Reverend Dr Matthew Hill will be in inducted as Vicar of Carmarthen St Peter with Abergwili and Capel-y-groes and Area Dean of Carmarthen in St Peter’s Church at 7pm on Wednesday 27 March (our Lent Group will meet on the Tuesday night that week).
