Welcome to the website home of Christchurch Carmarthen.
Christ Church (Eglwys Crist) is the church of the Church in Wales parish of Carmarthen St David. It is situated at the top of Lammas Street, Carmarthen, on the corner with Morfa Lane, opposite the Quins’ Rugby Club and Carmarthen Park. Its postcode is SA31 2AL.
It is a friendly, family-based church. The English Sunday morning service is at 9.15am. There is a Family Eucharist with a children’s address (or a story about Cosmo the Christ Church Cat) on the first Sunday of the month. On other Sundays the Small Church (for toddlers) and the Sunday School meet separately during the first part of the Sung Eucharist and then join the rest of the congregation during the Ministry of the Sacrament, coming up for a blessing at the altar rail. There is a child-friendly section at the back of the church where the small children play with their toys. The robed choir includes a cross-section of ages and is always glad of new recruits.
